Hi - I'm Maisa!

I’m frequently asked where I’m from, so let’s start with that: I was born in Bangladesh, have lived in the UK for a decade, and am now blessed to call San Francisco home. That being said, having lived in such vastly different parts of the world has shown me how fortunate I am to have had the opportunities available to me, and I’m committed to channeling my gratitude by working towards shaping a more informed and intentional world.

I’ve worked in the fashion industry in product development, manufacturing, design, and marketing. Over the last few years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of fashion's environmental impact and the ubiquity of ethical issues throughout the industry. I soon realized my true calling was to shift how the industry operates, i.e. encouraging and implementing sustainability practices which will be driven by advancements in technology. The convergence of fashion and technology is something I'm incredibly curious about. I'm excited for you to read my blog and explore this topic with me.
